Softball Tiers/Divisions

At 4 Tier Sports, we've ingeniously crafted four distinct tiers/divisions—Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze—to ensure every team competes on a level playing field. This thoughtful structure guarantees intense and competitive matchups, fostering an environment where talent meets its match. 

Our events are crafted to ignite your competitive spirit and drive. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, there's a division suited for you. Come join us and immerse yourself in the excitement of pushing boundaries and attaining triumph on the field.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT/RULES

All information displayed below is subject to change per event, please ensure you read the event notes when registering for any 4 Tier Sports Events!

Rosters must be submitted and finalized 1 hour before the first scheduled pool game of the tournament.

TEAM CLASSIFICATION GUIDELINES

​A - Platinum Division
Every team's goal is to reach this top tier.

 

B - Gold Division
Advancement if:

  • Place 1st in three tournaments

  • Achieve a run differential of 25

  • Maintain a 75% win rate

C - Silver Division
Advancement if:

  • Place 1st in any 4TS Event

  • Achieve a run differential of 18 

  • Maintain a 52% win rate

C Rec - Bronze Division
League drafted Allstar teams.

All requirements must be met for a team to be moved up in classification. 

Reclassification Rules
 

  • Teams are not locked into a class until May 15th.

  • Teams will be reclassified after every tournament based on performance.

  • If a B class team chooses to play up in an A class tournament, those standings will not affect reclassification.

  • If an A or B class team plays up in a C class tournament and places 1st or 2nd in three such tournaments, the team will no longer be eligible to play up in C class tournaments. They must compete in B class tournaments thereafter.
     

State/World Series Qualification for C Class
 

  • To qualify for the Fall & Summer State/World Series, a team must participate in at least one 4TS C class tournament 45 days before the event.
     

These rules ensure fair competition and provide clear pathways for teams to progress through the ranks.
